Not what I expected, would pass on this DVD only for a Die Hard Scorpion's fan.
A bit of a yawn October 2, 2008
Maybe I'm just not much of a fan of orchestras performing rock pieces, but I thought that this DVD was a disappointment, both in the song selections and in the way that the classic tunes were recomposed with the orchestral backing. The DVD quality was much better than the Wacken Open Air 2006 live concert DVD with respect to the cameras not jumping scenes every few seconds, but I thought that the songs came across as rather boring.

This is like a rock opera. This is a beautiful addition to fans of the Scorpions. If you are expecting arena rock; look for other Scorpion DVD's.
This is beautiful with the chorus of children coupled with the magnificent Philharmonic Orchestra along with the awesome rock guitar. Enjoyed it throughly.
