Eva Cassidy's voice and ability were excellent. She sang several different styles of music, and all incredibly well. You won't get tired of listening to this CD, over and over again. (I could listen to her all day.) My biggest regret is that I didn't hear of her until this past spring, and I'll never get to see her perform.

This CD is nearly flawless. From the beautiful "Fields of Gold" to the haunting "Over the Rainbow" this collection demonstrates Eva Cassidy's trememdous breadth of talent. It is so rare to find a voice with such vocal and emotional clarity. I cherish what we have; I am saddened there will be no more.
What a Voice! What a loss! August 29, 1998
I listened to Eva Cassidy's cover of "Fields Of Gold" at a listening station, and it blew me away. I honestly thought I was going to start crying in the store. I got the CD, and she blew me away. I am stunned that this woman is now gone and we can never hear her again doing new songs, but she leaves behind this stunning legacy. How many people can say that?

i heard the song '' fields of gold'' , and immedietely went on line to find out more about buying the c. d. . she has an unbelievable voice and i intend to buy all 3 c. d.;s. i was sorry to hear of her passing, just as i learned of who she was. it's a shame. buy the music, you'll be glad you heard her too.

Eva Cassidy! Never heard of her until Sunday morning. Heard "Fields of Gold" on the radio and had to get it! What a voice, and complete control of every song, and listener, no matter what style. Eva's range is incredible. Enjoy!
